Television
The Television Ministry is a part of the Garden City Media Ministries; a vision that was born in the year 1994 became a reality on July 19, 1999.

We began our weekly telecast of messages by Rev. Ernest V George on ‘Vijay TV’ and then moved on to ‘Raj TV’. Our program was titled The Lord Reigns.

Since July 2001, Garden City Assembly of God has been on the ‘MiracleNet’ with a new program titled His Healing Touch. Watch us every Saturday Morning at 07:00am on Siti Cable.

God has been extremely good to this Body of Christ and we have received positive responses from many in the South East Asian regions. According to ‘MiracleNet’ records, our program has an audience of over 66 million people.

Due to other commitments, the Television ministry has been suspended for a while. We look forward to being on air very soon by the enabling of the Holy Spirit! Stay tuned!

Aaron’s Army
“…be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord….” 1 Corinthians 15:58

Aaron’s Army are the Deacons that serve at GCAGIWC. Their goal is to be the most responsible, effective and respected Ministry at GCAGIWC, and to take ownership in supporting the churche’s Mission

“To bring people to Jesus and MEMBERSHIP in His family, develop them to Christ-like MATURITY, and equip them for their MINISTRY in the Church and life, MISSION in the world, in order to MAGNIFY God’s Name.”

The members of the Aaron Army, are committed to serving the House of God and God’s servant through faithfulness and accountability.

Currently they are a team of twenty men who meet regularly with the Senior Pastor and learning from him the Word of God as they grow in Christian maturity to serve God. Each person is allocated in different sections
of ministry.

On behalf of the Aaron’s Army I thank Pastor Ernest and the members of the Aaron’s Army for their wonderful support. Praise the Lord!

A.R.K – All Remarkable Kids!
At GCAGIWC we believe that all our Kids are remarkable! The ministry catering to the children is primarily the Sunday School. The Sunday School Department aims at nurturing children between the age groups four to
seventeen in the love of Christ. Our aim is to embed seeds of faith and mentor children to be Disciples of Christ and ultimately build the Church.

ARK – Sunday School Goals
To increase the attendance of the Sunday School by involving children of Sunday School age to regularly participate in Sunday School activities. To provide opportunities for worship and praise. To improve parent /
Sunday School relations. To provide parents with help and information on Christian parenting. To provide opportunities for teacher fellowship. To provide training for our teachers through regular Sunday School
teachers’ meetings and workshops.

ARK Sunday School Staff
A team of seven teachers work toward building the Sunday School. They work individually and in groups like the music team, the art team and the dramatics team.

ARK Sunday School Timings
Sunday School begins 7:45 am and concludes at 9:45am. Sunday School begins each week with singing and worship followed by competitions, talk -time and regular classes.

Bring A Friend To Sunday School
The goal of our Sunday School is not only to teach God’s truth to our children, but also encourage them to be witnesses to the world. Our Lord has commanded us to go and teach. Therefore, as a part of the challenge
and as a part of the commitment to fulfil the Great Commission, everyone is encouraged to bring other children to Christ. At present we have over 150 children.

Want To Help Out With Our Sunday School
Developing a quality Sunday School doesn’t just happen—it takes the dedicated effort of many people who are committed to sharing the love of Jesus Christ with children and young people. May be you’ve thought
about serving the Lord through the Sunday School, but you aren’t sure about what’s involved. If you’d like more information on Sunday School and how you can get involved in it, contact the church office.

Youth Alive
The greatest love that anyone can find is the Love of God. Oftentimes we find that the young people look to the world and the pleasure that it offers for love and peace, much to their disappointment and heartache. The
youngsters are under tremendous pressure and constant temptation to live ungodly lives in this wicked and perverse generation. During this impressionable age, if they do not know the Love of Christ, it is a generation
that is lost.

As leaders of the youth-wing of Garden City Assembly of God, we are committed to seeing lives changed for God. We meet every Sunday at 4:00 pm for a time of fellowship and prayer, fun and games, sharing one
another’s everyday experiences, meeting together for a time of dynamic worship and praise! If you have not been a part of our fellowship yet, please do come. Be there or be square!

Rev. Ernest V George has a passion for the youth as they are the heartbeat of the nation and it is in following with his vision and planning that we set forth to lead other youngsters to Christ. Our youth fellowship
consists of vibrant young boys and girls studying and working but who recognize their need to stay within the call of Christ upon their lives.

We have been involved in various outreach programs such as visiting Old Age Homes, Orphanages and Spastic Societies. Our goal is to be living testimonies of the Love of God to the youth of Bangalore by serving
others.

Clay Academy
If you are looking at growing in Christian maturity – this is the place to be. Every Wednesday evening at 6:30, there is a time of Bible Study where Rev. Ernest V. George teaches the Word of God in detail.

The key to success, Godly success comes only God’s way – through the Word of God. In Joshua 1:8, the Lord commanded that we are to meditate upon His Word in order to be successful. Without knowledge people
perish states the Bible. Therefore, hunger for God’s Word and be molded in the likeness of the Son of God at the Clay Academy.

Seniors’ Fellowship
Isaiah 46:4 – Even to your old age and grey hairs I am He, I am He who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.

How It Began
The man behind the vision, our Senior Pastor, Rev. Ernest V George inaugurated the Senior Members’ Fellowship on December 12th, 2001. My wife Chandra, and I were given the privilege and responsibility to head this new department for the elderly members of the Church.

Our Purpose
It is rather amazing that when we become old we are considered a liability rather than an asset in our homes and community. However, I believe that the experience that we go through can be put to tremendous use
and besides the time that we have [if retired], can be used wisely to serve God in various ways. We, as the elders of the Church would like to positively contribute towards the building of the Body of Christ and spread
the Gospel of our Lord and Saviour to those that are needy and hurting.

Our fellowship began with just 35 people, who gather together once every month at the Church [2nd Wednesday of the Month at 11:30 am] for a time of prayer, games, singing, worship, hearing God’s Word, testimony, quizzes and good Christian companionship. There is usually a Guest Speaker from different walks of life who would share their experiences or teach something that is useful in our walk with the Lord. Although, this began for the elderly members of the GCAGIWC, many elders from other churches and denominations have attended and continue to be a part of this fellowship.

As a part of this ministry we visit hospitals, the sick, those who are ‘shut in’ their homes due to age and / or ill health. Each year, we celebrate World Elders Day in the month of October.

In the coming months we want to be much more active through programs like Hospital Visitation, Home Visitation, Prayer Time, Retreat, Picnics, etc. For we truly believe that there is no ‘retirement’ for a Christian.

Serve the Lord as long as possible!

Jason Pratapraj & Chandra Jason
Director – Seniors’ Fellowship
